  • Explanation of policies and results of implementation
[Information in response to needs]
General consumers, for example, require information for reducing risk of products for daily use. It should be included in the contents as far as possible. If such information is not available, it is desirable to provide some guidance or tips for decision.

(2) Preparation of contents
The role of specialists/researchers must be emphasized since information should have scientific grounds. They are responsible for presentation of their research results in a form accurate and easy to understand. It should be clear how each result contribute to solve the vast and complex problem.
Concise, readable style and annotations for technical terms are examples of useful practices for effective presentation.

(3) Choice of adequate communication routes
The communication routes listed below are available. In addition, interactive methods2 are possible.
It should be noted that information is needed either for
knowledge (learning) or as a guide for actions. In the latter case, details or sophistication is not of prime importance.
