Welcome to Division of Foods !
The division consists of three sections, in which research on the safety and soundness of general foods and newly developed food products is conducted. The principal activities are establishment of standard analytical methods for measuring pesticides, animal drugs, environmental pollutants and naturally occurring toxins in foods, monitoring of various food contaminants and their toxicological implications, investigation on food deterioration, food allergy and detection of genetically modified foods and irradiated foods, and speciation of trace elements.
