Database

GMO

GMO-db provides indispensable information on official detection methods of genetically modified crops, guidelines for method development, biotechnologies including genome editing, risk assessment standard, allergenicity assessment guidelines, and status of GMO development. More than 20 years have passed since GM crop was commercially introduced to the market. GM crop cultivation has spread worldwide. However, public understanding is not yet progressing. GMO-db can help understand the latest biotechnologies and safety assessment.

MushPlant

MushPlant database was built for the purpose of preventing health hazards by natural poisons. The database includes statistical data of food poisoning cases caused by toxic plants and mushrooms between 2000 and 2018, DNA-based identification methods based upon specific loci (eg, ITS, RPB2, matK), sequence data links, analytical methods, and examples of molecular phylogenetic study. These data and information can help you understand the risk of natural toxins in toxic mushrooms/plants and identify them correctly.

ADFS

ADFS is an allergen database for food safety. The database was built for the allergenicity assessment of biotechnology products. Information on allergenic proteins and epitope sequences are included in the database. Based on the data, homology with known allergens and existence/non-existence of epitope sequences for the query protein can be searched using BLAST/FASTA and other specific algorisms.
