10:00–12:00, 13:30–16:30 (Japanese Standard Time)

【Application for Consultation】

We provide consultation and advice on the preparation of the application document described in “The Procedure for Preparing Application Documents for the Designation of Food Additives and Revision of Use Standards for Food Additives” LinkIcon Procedure for the application.( “The Overview Documentation” in “The Procedure for Preparing Application
Documents for the Designation of Food Additives and Revision of Use Standards for Food Additives” should be written in Japanese.)
Of note, we only deal with matters associated with the preparation of the aforementioned document.

Please fill the section “the Application Form for Consultation Reservation” attached below and forward it to the consultation center via e-mail.

【Note】

Applicants should fill the blank spaces in the “Application Form” keeping in mind the following points:

　　　・“Classification”: Applicants should check Designation, Revision of use standard,
　　　　and Revision of specifications. Applicants may select more than one item.
　　　・“Consultation item”: Applicants should check their requirements. They may select
　　　　more than one item.
　　　・“Name of the food additive”: Applicants should write the generic name and
　　　　not the commercial name.
　　　・“Intended uses”: Applicants should state the intended uses.
　　　　Please refer to LinkIcon the Standards for Use of Food Additives .
　　　・“Details of consultation”: Applicants should clearly describe in detail what
　　　　information about the preparation of the application document is required.
　　　　In addition,applicants may include information on any other paper they have
　　　　prepared along with the form.
　　　・Applicants consulting us for the first time should include an additional information
　　　　paper comprising the overview of documentation, status in other countries,
　　　　general property, and chemical structure of the substance.

Note:
The face-to-face meeting is conducted in Japanese at our center. Non-Japanese-speaking applicants are requested to be accompanied by an interpreter, if necessary.
